Description
Fishing around the world is constantly evolving and becoming more democratic. It was with this in mind that Shimano invented its STC Shimano Travel Concept many years ago. For this 2018/2019 season, it is offering a new series of rods to meet the constant and growing demand for this type of equipment.
The S.T.C. Spinning series comprises seven spinning rods with lengths ranging from 240 to 300cm and a range of use from 10-30g to an XH version capable of casting lures weighing over 100g with ease. With a maximum overall length of 65cm for the largest rod, there's no need to worry about packing these rods in your suitcase, car, rucksack or wherever you want to store them. Thanks to the use of the new Nano X5 carbon, the rods are really light, responsive and strong.
You won't even notice that you're fishing with a 4 or 5-piece rod instead of a 2-piece. Because these rods are so versatile, you can use them for different techniques: the less powerful ones for lake pike fishing with medium-sized lures or for mullet fishing with a float and bread. The choice is yours!
