Description
This Mer Casting rod from Daiwa is a famous Saltiga Bay Jigging rod. It has been designed for fishing fish all over the world with jigs. It will excel in the jigging technique. With a length of 1.93m, it's just the right size for jigging.
One of the first sruprise will come from its very light weight. At just 181g, it comes with no fewer than 13 rings and a power handling capacity of 180g of weight. But the rod's strength doesn't stop there, as it's capable of withstanding brakes from 2 to 8kg. The rod is rated for 20 lb.
Its gentle action means you'll have a foil that's ideal for inchiku and madai. You'll love the minimalist action on the bottom.
