The AG STX Reel is the latest addition to Abu Garcia's family of Carabus spinning reels. It's the obvious choice for any angler looking for the right tool for the right application. It is fitted with very shallow aluminium spools, allowing the use of ultra fine braid and mono without compromising casting performance even with light spoons.

Its low ratios will give you the possibility of practising the so-called "super slow" retrieve, to be applied in difficult conditions. Spare aluminium spools make it easy to switch from braid to monobloc. Weighing in at just 200g, these lightweight reels are the ideal complement to Abu Garcia's Carabus AG rod series.
