The Maverick Monocoque 2022 spinning reel from the brand Daiwa is an improved version of the Saltist that offers even greater resistance to corrosion!

The Maverick is fitted with an additional MagSealed bearing in the pick-up roller. MagSealed bearings have a magnetised oil that protects the internal mechanics and improves the rotation of the reel.

This powerful reel is designed for fighting fish in the sea. Its round handle is the same as that used on the famous Saltiga and Certate SW, providing real comfort during powerful battles.

The Tough Digigear control wheel is compressed into the monocoque frame, a technology that ensures the mechanics will hold up over time. The hollow tubular Air Bail pick-up arm improves line take-up on the spool for unrivalled performance, even with the lightest braids in windy conditions.
