Description

The ideal lure for days when fishing pressure is high, the Monsterfly 22Cm returns with a revamped silhouette to target the biggest pike.

Initially designed in 2009 and rethought to be more robust and versatile, this lure can be used in spinning and casting thanks to its oversized ABS head adorned with a golf ball pattern and equipped with stainless steel beads that displace water, create turbulence and bubbles for maximum attraction. The combination of bucktail, shiny tinsel, rubber skirts and synthetic fibers deliver superior reflections and durability while minimizing the risk of tangling around the hook.

On the level of feeling and swimming, the set works like a voluminous streamer: with slow recovery in shallow water, the silhouette generates an undulating flow and bright sparks that promote the predatory instinct of large carnivorous fish. To go deeper or speed up the animation, the additional eyelet allows to add ballast and adjust the speed behavior: with a heavier ballast one can even jig it along the breaks to prospect the slopes.

The lead-free plumb construction and the 1.4 mm diameter through-armature provide robustness and reliability in contact with a big rush, while the Westin volume disc maintains the volume even when wet to preserve the visual effect. The single carbon steel hook no. 6/0 is concealed to promote the attack, and the broken ring allows to replace the hook with a shallow mount with a soft lure if needed.

Versatile, it can be used alone like a streamer or combined with your soft lures to vary the presentations according to the depth and the speed of recovery.
