The Westin W10 Finesse-T T&C 2ND is designed for anglers who want to feel everything at the end of the line, with remarkable finesse in bite detection and the reserves of power needed to bring the fight to a clean finish. Its fast blank is still powerful enough to get the job done, giving you real confidence by the water when you need to work a lure precisely and strike at just the right moment.
Each blank is handmade using X5 carbon-layer technology and a 4-axis woven carbon reinforcement on the outer layer for consistently precise response. Combined with the Torayca® T1100G+M46X+Nanoalloy® 55Ton carbon blank, this creates an extremely sensitive, well-balanced rod with exceptional strength and reduced weight. You can feel the difference this premium construction makes straight away: contacts are sharper, bites are easier to read, and strikes become smoother and more reliable.
The G-hyper neo carbon + cork handle provides a comfortable, secure grip, while the Fuji® carbon-fibre-reinforced plastic reel seat combines high strength with ultra-light weight. The Fuji® Titanium Torzite® K anti-tangle guides help the line run smoothly and contribute to the overall balance of the rod. Other features include a 4-axis and 1k carbon-reinforced spigot joint, a Seaguide® Stainless DHOOK hook keeper and a 360° screw-in cap, custom-designed from high-strength aluminium.
On the water, this rod excels with soft lures, small crankbaits and Texas and Carolina rigs fished on the bottom, particularly for perch and other predatory fish. It lets you stay in contact with your lure when fishing technical methods that call for probing, dropping, dragging or working a lure with precision. It pairs perfectly with Westin W6 50BC or 100BC baitcasting reels for a well-matched, high-performance setup.
