Description

The casting reel Daiwa 24 Tatula SV TW 100 now incorporates the new SV Boost system, an evolution of the SV magnetic brake designed to increase casting distance without risking backlash. Its frame, slightly reduced compared to the previous model, also improves handling.

The SV Boost is a two-stage SV magnetic brake system. The magnetic braking force is automatically reduced during the second phase of casting. In concrete terms, the brake remains active at the start to control the spool, then releases its pressure to let the lure go further. The increase in distance is achieved without risk of backlash, and without additional adjustment to be made during casting.

The "Hyper Drive Design" combines the Hyper Drive Digigear and Hyper Double Support technologies. It guarantees optimal power transmission and reduces mechanical noise. The aluminium frame "Hyper Armed" ensures a rigid and twist-free support of the internal mechanism, so that the gears remain well aligned even under load.

The "Hyper Tough Clutch" clutch system prevents all untimely engagement, including during the most pronounced casts. A significant safety feature when chaining powerful casts with heavy lures.

The openwork 90 mm handle, with its Swept Handle profile, enhances the redesigned handling thanks to the more compact frame. The UTD technology brake is adjusted by a Zaion star brake button. The A7075 aluminium spool and the 7+1 bearings complete the package.
