Aoki has also moved across the Pacific: present on the Bassmaster Opens circuit since 2019, he has achieved several Top 10 finishes and qualified for the Bassmaster Elite Series, notably winning a Bassmaster Southern Open on Douglas Lake with a DStyle finesse worm mounted wacky without lead.
