Description

The Torquee Straight Type HG from the famous Japanese brand DSTYLE replicates the formidable profile of the original model, but in a High Gravity (HG) version, that is to say, with a salt content pushed to its maximum. This surplus of material increases its weight (from 3.8g to 4.2g), which boosts its casting distances and significantly improves its fall action. Infused with a powerful olfactory and taste attractant, it is designed to leave no chance to challenging fish.

The geometry of this lure has been meticulously thought out for use in Neko Rig. Its body has two types of asymmetric ribs that act as joints when they encounter water pressure. Result: a simple animation (shaking) on the line generates a broad 3D action that mimics a small distressed baitfish, a movement typical of Daisuke Aoki's designs.

The placement of your hook determines the swimming action, thanks to the "V" ribs that serve as reference points (the use of a 2mm heat shrink tubing is recommended):

Pricked on the front ribs: Tight and horizontal swimming action.
Pricked on the back ribs (flat side): Broader and vertical action.

Its firmer material allows it to swim like a real swimming fish (minnow plug) during a simple linear retrieval or a bottom tapping (scratching at the bottom). A "torque" (powerful) swimming action unprecedented for a worm!
