This Daiwa surfcasting reel is the latest addition to the Emblem range for surfcasting bass and other fish. It has been developed after months of testing in Spain in a wide range of fishing conditions. The engineers at Daiwa have listened to anglers and tried to meet their expectations while keeping casting distance as an essential part of every one of their surfcasting reels.

One of the first technical aspects of this reel is the use of magsealed bearings. This ensures a watertight seal that's almost essential if you want to take advantage of cutting-edge technology and still have a long service life. Often exposed to sea spray and salt water, this Emblem Surf Type R will be protected from these repeated aggressions. To enable you to cope with a wide range of situations, the box includes 2 extra spools.

This will give you the opportunity to fish finer, with a different brand or to have a larger reserve of line body. The Type-R finish will ensure that you pay particular attention to the fishing comfort and cutting-edge features of the reel.
