A newcomer to the Abu Garcia spinning reel range, this Revo ALX Theta is the brainchild of Japanese engineers who wanted to produce a cheap, reliable, lightweight and incredibly strong model.

To achieve this, they've combined some of the brand's best-known technologies and pushed development to very advanced levels to make everything work together. You'll find the AMGearing system, which offers micron-cut gears for smooth operation and incredible durability.

The frame is a monocoque constructed from an aluminium-based alloy. It is cast in conditions that make it, once cooled, strong and resistant to various pressures. It's clearly designed for predators and will naturally compete with the leading models from other brands.
