The Miravel spinning reel arrives in 2022 to the delight of anglers looking for the quality of the Magnumlight (MGL) series without breaking the bank. That's right, Shimano is hitting hard with the development of this new reel, which has a sober appearance but some very interesting features. Its weight and design will fit naturally with any fishing rod, creating a perfect harmony of lightness and balance for maximum performance.

And when it comes to performance, you'll love what this rod has to offer: an ideal combination of lightness, fluidity and power. An integral part of the Magnumlite series, the Miravel reel is equipped with the latest technological advances from the Japanese manufacturer.

The reel features CI4+ and G-FREE composite construction, keeping the weight down while maintaining excellent strength. This is clearly an ideal solution for lure fishing, as the slightest pressure on the handle will set the rotor in motion, providing exceptional responsiveness which often makes the difference in many situations.

In terms of mechanics, Shimano has left nothing to chance and has improved on technologies that have already proved their worth, such as the famous Hagane Gear combination, X-SHIP, which has been enhanced by Silent Drive and the screw-on handle that reduces the play between the crank and the frame.
