weights for soft lures

When we talk about weight for predator fishing, we often think of the weight head. This is one of the main elements used to rig and weight a soft bait lure. But it's not the only one. There are also inserts which, as their name suggests, fit into the soft bait. They are widely used for neko rig fishing to make the end of the worm heavier.

For black bass fishing, the texas rig or carolina rig requires the use of a weights ball. This type of weight, often made of tungsten, is shaped like a ball, hence the name. They are threaded onto the line body and are independent of the hook to create a joint between the weight and the lure. They are widely used to pierce weed beds.

weights for swimming fish

Although swimming fish do not necessarily require a weight. Sometimes they need to be made a little heavier so that they can swim at greater depths.

The weights clips are weights that are added to your already rigged lure to give it extra weight. They are usually clipped onto the head eyelets or onto a ring split. They are removable and allow you to fish in deeper or shallower water depending on your needs and the biotope. Rarely weighing more than 30g, these weights are designed to accessorise andadapt your rig to the spot you want to fish.
