Building on the qualities of the SLX released in 2018, this Shimano SLX XT model has been fitted with the SVS centrifugal drag system found on the brand's top-of-the-range models. The result is a casting reel that combines casting quality, lightness and price.

You'll use it as a multi-purpose reel for stalking freshwater predators. Its slower ratio is ideal for crankbaits, spinnerbaits or even fishing with vibrations, while the HG will be more at home with soft lures or hard bait with small bibs.
