Description

This model in the Night Shadows series Illex has been specifically designed for big predators. The powerful blank can handle very big rushes, being both powerful and supple enough to absorb raging head strikes. This will drastically reduce the number of stalls caused by an overly hard tip.
This is made possible by the use of worm fibre in the blank. This technical aspect also makes it easier to use high-vibration lures. The action of The Reservoir Dog rod is therefore relatively versatile, allowing you to master several techniques. Finally, the length of the rod combined with the nature of the blank means that you can make powerful, long-distance casts either from the shore or from a boat, with total control of the action.
