The hard bait Popchinko 140 is a popper from the brand Xorus of 14cm for 33g. The Popchinko is the cousin of Patchinko, a formidable surface lure for bass fishing. The new Popchinko 140 from Xorus is a floating pencil popper equipped with noise beads. When it is on the surface, the Popchinko has its backside in the water! Indeed, the rear part of this popper concentrates the majority of the weight of the lure giving it a vertical position at rest.

The lowering of the Popchinko 140's center of gravity gives it significant stability allowing you to cast it at long distances and use it in calm seas as well as in rough weather. This surface lure can be used as a popper, by performing a series of rod tip movements and pauses, or as a stickbait for a "Walking The Dog" swim.

If you animate the Popchinko rod lower, you will be able to make it dive just under the surface. A considerable advantage for fishing days when fish have difficulty breaking the surface to hunt.
