Illex Hard bait Illex Swing Mikey 72

The hard bait Swing Mikey 72 is a 3-part articulated hard swimbait. The Swing Mikey has a small lip to allow it to operate in shallow water close to the surface, to a maximum depth of 50cm. With a length of 7.2cm, it is ideal for medium-sized predators such as black bass and perch.

This hard bait Illex has a silhouette similar to that of various forage fish such as roach, rotenge, bream, carpeau, perch, black bass or sun perch. In other words, these are fairly stocky fish that attract the greed of freshwater predators.

The Swing Mikey swims close to the surface with a combination of wobbling and rolling action. This wide swimming action gives it a frenetic and irresistible behaviour, whatever the retrieve speed (slow wake bait retrieve, stop & go on the surface, linear retrieve).

This articulated hard bait has a flat tail which sets it apart from other surface lures. This flat tail reduces the rolling effect giving the Swing Mikey 72 the most natural swimming action possible.

The flattened tail has an eyelet so you can add a teaser such as a small paddle or feather to make this swimbait even more attractive.
