Description

The hard bait Magic Crank 40 SR is a small 4cm crank weighing 3.8g. This crankbait from Illex is a shallow runner crankbait, ideal for fishing shallow areas of rivers, lakes and ponds for perch, black bass and trout.

This small crank has a unique sound, obtained by two small metal balls circulating freely in a specially designed chamber like a prism (multiple grooves) to make the balls squeak. The result is a low-pitched sound. The multiple grooves also provide a visual stimulus by reflecting light through the cavity.

The Magic Crank 40 SR is an easy-to-use crank. A simple continuous linear retrieve interspersed with stop & go pauses is all it takes to make it formidable for fishing all small predators. By varying the retrieve speed or applying a very fast swim this lure maintains a stable and attractive swimming action.

That's all it takes to trigger reflex attacks from predators such as perch, zander, pike, black-bass, trout and chub. The Magic Crank 40 SR swims between 20 and 80cm deep. You can use it over weedbeds, around foliage and close to any type of obstacle.
