The Huge Spinnerbait from Deps was developed specifically to target powerful fish. Kazz, a professional staff member whose real name is Kazuhiro Uyama, known for his catches of monstrous fish around the world, identified the potential of spinnerbaits after years of fishing. After many years of trial and error, this spinnerbait has been perfected to catch fish over 20kg.
To ensure maximum robustness, a closed eye is used to connect it to your line. This prevents damage such as deformations or breaks in the frame, often caused by the movement of the knot during a fight. In addition, a closed eyelet is absolutely necessary when fishing for powerful fish to allow the use of a line, a broken ring or a clip.
This spinnerbait is equipped with a wire that reduces the deformation of the frame during the fight. Made of ultra-thick 1.2mm diameter stainless steel, it is a robust spinnerbait that ensures a firm and effective vibration.
The head of this spinner is known for deceiving many large black bass. It has been modified with unique balance settings for optimal performance.
You will benefit from a long shank iron hook. It can withstand intense fights with out-of-the-ordinary fish over 20 kg. The floating silicone skirt offers excellent durability and minimal entanglement in the water. When the volume of the skirt is insufficient, a skirt holder allows attaching an additional silicone skirt.
This spinnerbait is an effective metallic lure for fishing various freshwater predators. The ultimate goal of the tests conducted by Kazz was to catch the largest freshwater fish in the world, the arapaima. Historically, metallic lures were not the standard lures for the arapaima. However, on his first attack in 2013, Kazz recorded over 20 attacks and successfully caught 3 arapaimas. In the Amazon in 2014, he caught an 80kg arapaima, demonstrating the potential of the Huge Spinnerbait.
In addition to the arapaima, this spinnerbait has been tested on various freshwater fish such as the snake head, the aïmara, the peacock bass...
