The soft bait Mosquito from Gunki quickly gained a solid reputation among zander and perch fishermen in freshwater, especially during the autumn and winter seasons. In marine environments, it is also highly appreciated by the Gunki team for bass fishing, thus becoming a must-have.

The XL version, Mosquito PLG 230 ITB, with a length of 23cm, is intended for fishing for pelagic specimens such as zander or pike. The head of the Mosquito 230 has been redesigned to perfectly adapt to the weight-ed screw heads G’Rider PLG, specially designed for vertical and pelagic fishing. Thanks to the absence of a tail and its slender silhouette, it quickly descends towards the fish and offers low resistance in the rod, thus allowing the assembly to stay longer in the detection cone of the fish finder.

The subtle vibration of this "maxi pintail" is particularly effective in deceiving the wariness of large zander and pike, even the most educated ones. Suitable for precise vertical and deep fishing, as well as for specimen hunting, it is also perfectly adapted for tracking large bass, pollock and meagre with heavy fishing techniques.

On the seagrass flats, the Mosquito 230, mounted with unweighted Texas hooks and animated with jerks, provokes reactions from opportunistic fish thanks to its completely erratic swimming. It is a must-have lure for pike.

The Mosquito 230 retains the "SBS" grooves on its belly, thus optimizing the use of attractants. It is available with an anise scent, adding an additional attraction for fish.
