Description

The Sephia Sui Sui Stick 80 FD is a semi-floating squid jig designed by Shimano for cephalopod fishermen such as squid and cuttlefish, especially in shallow waters. With its slim and compact body, it benefits from perfect balance that allows it to sink slowly while maintaining a stable horizontal swim. This feature is particularly advantageous to stay longer in the upper strike zone, where the presence of squids and other cephalopods is the strongest.

Its horizontal swim during the descent realistically mimics a small fish or a drifting shrimp, creating a natural allure that captures the attention of predators. In addition, this squid jig incorporates innovative technologies to significantly increase its effectiveness. The patented Flashboost technology uses a reflected mirror suspended by micro-springs to capture and exploit light and UV rays, thus attracting squids to the water's surface, even in low visibility conditions.

To this is added the Scaleboost technology, which enhances visual attraction by simulating shiny scales, making the lure even more irresistible. Some variants of the Sephia Sui Sui Stick also incorporate phosphorescent and UV areas, allowing to attract fish in low light environments or at night. Thanks to these innovations, this lure is particularly effective in cephalopod fishing in shallow waters, where it maximizes its time in the active zone and optimizes the chances of capture.
