The Exsence Shallow Assassin 99F is a hard bait Shimano for the ultimate bass to prospect the shallow waters. This floating hard lure proves to be a benchmark for stalking the speckled bass and the European bass in coastal areas, estuaries, and areas of shallow depth.

This floating hard bait of 9.9cm combines a sleek design with formidable efficiency. Specially designed for fishing for sea bass (sea bass) on the surface and sub-surface, it excels in conditions where fish hunt near the surface: active hunts, shallow rocky positions, beaches, port entrances and seagrass areas.

It benefits from various exclusive Shimano technologies:

  • Jet Boost: This internal mass transfer system propels your lure to impressive distances, allowing you to reach distant hunts and areas inaccessible from the shore. When bass feed offshore or wind conditions complicate casting, Jet Boost technology makes all the difference in presenting your lure exactly where the fish are.
  • Flash Boost (for color 009 - Black and 010 - White): Thanks to an ingenious mechanism of suspended internal reflectors, the lure continues to reflect light and emit flashes even during pauses and when stopped. This permanent visual attraction triggers attacks even when the lure is stationary.
  • Scale Boost: This technology reproduces with photographic accuracy the natural scales of forage fish. This ultra-realistic finish even deceives the most wary fish. The reflections and texture of the scales perfectly mimic natural prey such as sand eels, smelts, sprats, and mullet.

  • Linear animation (constant recovery): With a simple regular recovery, the Shallow Assassin evolves just below the surface (0.1 to 0.3 meters deep) producing a tight rolling and hypnotic.
  • Twitching animation (jerking): Add sharp rod strokes (twitches) followed by pauses, and the lure adopts a completely different behavior: it makes erratic side deviations that mimic a disoriented fish.

Its swim located between 0.1 and 0.3 meters under the surface, this shallow lure (little diving) is perfectly suitable for:
