The chatterbait Blade Blaster from Illex revolutionizes the approach to cluttered areas and dense weed beds thanks to its innovative hybrid concept. Born from the collaboration between Marc Ptacovsky, member of the Pro-Staff Illex team, and Thomas Vogels, product development manager, this blended-jig fusion brings together the best of two worlds of chatterbait and swim-jig for a formidable efficiency on all predators.

This lure represents the culmination of a research work aiming to create the ultimate tool for exploring shallow areas. Marc Ptacovsky wished to merge the advantages of the classic swim-jig with the attractive power of a vibrating blade. The result: a lure capable of overcoming the most difficult obstacles while generating irresistible signals for black bass, pike and other predators.

The profiled head takes up the proven geometry of the Jungle Blaster, guaranteeing a smooth swim through obstacles such as plant massifs and on submerged structures. This refined silhouette literally pierces the weed beds without clinging, allowing you to explore usually inaccessible posts. The metallic blade specially developed for this lure produces powerful vibrations as soon as it hits the water, instantly animating the generous silicone skirt that undulates hypnotically during the simple linear recovery.

Faced with repeated attacks from pike and other predators, the skirt benefits from a reinforced attachment by stainless steel wire ligation. This design guarantees exceptional resistance and preserves the integrity of the lure session after session. Completely free of lead, the Blade Blaster meets current environmental requirements without compromising performance.

A cleverly positioned ventral eyelet offers multiple customization possibilities. Add an additional lead to adjust the swimming depth of the chatter, or attach an extra blade to intensify flashes and vibrations. The trailer assembly multiplies the possibilities: pair a 4 or 5 inch shad for a sleek profile, a thin-tailed lure for accentuated undulations, or a craw to mimic a escaping crayfish.

Although initially designed for fishing for pike in its favorite territories, the Blade Blaster proves to be impressively performing on all freshwater predators. Perch, black-bass, zander and catfish succumb to its vibrating action and passages through their usually protected comfort zones.
