The Diving Flap Slap is this swimming fish Megabass which takes on its full meaning when predators remain deeper in the water layer. With its profile of crankbait with relatively high flat flanks, it descends up to a depth of 2m10 to go after the tucked away fish.
Its balance located along the body in its lower part gives it a marked rolling action, with significant flashes that visually evoke a much larger lure. When retrieved, it also generates high frequency strong vibrations and displaces a lot of water, which allows it to be felt even when conditions are less favorable. With the slightest animation, it reacts quickly, without any excess inertia, and maintains a lively swim that remains realistic.
Breaks are part of its best assets: the Diving Flap Slap slowly climbs back up in the water column while maintaining a natural pendular action. This is often the exact moment when the pike, the perch or the black bass decides to attack, when the prey appears weak. This combination between depth, vibration and stability makes it a particularly interesting lure for slow prospecting, marking stops, then precisely relaunching.
On the water, it takes on all its interest for prospecting the deeper zones with regular animation, punctuated with breaks. Its behavior makes it an excellent choice when it is necessary to trigger fish without brutality, by seeking to arouse curiosity first, then a frank attack. Its 7.7 cm format offers a real compromise between visual presence and nervous swimming.
