The Sakura Locolong Jig 120g is for fishermen seeking a sea jig that can sink quickly while still maintaining a very lively movement. Developed for vertical sea fishing, it stands out with its elongated profile and its weight distribution on the lower part, two features that promote a quick sinking speed to reach the depths without wasting time.
Upon touching water, this Locolong Jig assumes an asymmetric attitude that allows it to "flutter" during movement. This irregular action generates a maximum amount of light flashes and twinkles, a real plus when there is a need to attract the attention of fish in deep areas or swept by currents. Both in Long Jerk and in Speed Jigging, the lure maintains a dynamic and expressive movement, perfect for triggering bites on released or speedy phases.
To enhance its visual impact, Sakura has worked the light spectra of the lure with a phosphorescent Sakura eye and colors combining phosphorescence and reactions to ultraviolet rays. At depth, this combination helps the jig to better capture available light and return it with intensity. The visual signals are complemented by an auditory signature thanks to a metal chamber containing internal beads, which sound during action and add an additional stimulus during quick movements.
In the field, this model makes complete sense when it is necessary to effectively prospect the current zones, to quickly reach the bottom of the water column and maintain an attractive lure despite the depth. Its behavior is particularly suited to vertical fishing where alternation of dry ascents, controlled releases and frank accelerations are sought to keep the jig in action. The engraving at the back of the lure indicating the weight also makes organization in the box easier, a simple but practical detail when every second counts on the water.
