The Sakura Chiku Shake Slider 100g is meant for those who enjoy feeling a lure at work, simply but with a real presence under the rod. Originally from Japan, this sliding inchiku is making headway on our Mediterranean and Atlantic coasts thanks to its highly natural, easy-to-use presentation.
Its design is based on a powerful idea: the jighead and the octopus sink separately. When it descends, this separation enhances its appeal and gives the assembly especially interesting mobility in the water. At battle, the fish also benefits from better hold, as the lead stays far from the hooks, limiting unhooking at the critical moment. It's precisely this type of detail that changes a session: more control, more fish brought in, more confidence in the assembly.
When in action, the Chiku Shake Slider is very simple. It works both at a slow linear recovery as well as at vertical jigging, drifting. Its versatility allows it to stay efficient without complicating the approach, while keeping a neat and regular presentation. The assembly is done by connecting your line to the braid that connects the hooks and the skirt, so that the head can slide and freely move up the line. This freedom of movement contributes to the attractiveness of the lure and its ability to provoke strikes from wary fish.
This lure is particularly aimed at Sparidae, which respond the best to this type of presentation. However, it can also attract other fish such as bass, amberjacks, weevers and pollocks. It's a lure designed for the sea, suited to approaches where the descent, drift and discretion of presentation make the difference. When fish are wary, it comes into its own: it's easy to use to explore an area, let the assembly work as it descends, then accompany the movement with a slow, precise action.
