Description

Under a dock. Behind a rock. Under the hull of a beached boat. These are the places predators choose when they do not want to be disturbed — and precisely those that most lures cannot reach. The soft lure Nays SCR has been designed to go there, discreetly, naturally, with the appearance of a crawfish that has nothing to hide.

The SCR adopts the compact and recognizable morphology of a defensive crawfish. Its floating claws come alive at the slightest tremor, generating micro-movements of formidable subtlety. No useless agitation, no excessive vibrations — just the calm behavior of a natural prey moving on the bottom. In clear waters or under heavy fishing pressure, this discretion often makes all the difference.

This is where the SCR reveals its uniqueness. Its high salt content gives it enough density to, mounted on a Texas hook, sink backwards autonomously. This backslide trajectory allows it to sneak naturally under overhanging structures — docks, boats, submerged branches — without any forced manipulation. The lure does the work. Just cast and let it happen.

Originally designed to dress the Skirted Jigs DLT from Nays, the SCR integrates perfectly thanks to its complementary silhouette and the natural action of its claws. But it doesn't need a jig to exist. In Texas weightless rigging, in drop shot or on a lead head light, it is self-sufficient and adapts to a wide range of finesse situations.
