Strike King Soft Bait Strike King Caffeine Shad 12.5cm

The Caffeine Shad is a soft bait from the brand Strike King. Packed in sets of 8, you'll find it in 10 and 12.5cm sizes. Used to great effect during the Perch Pro 7 competition (episode 2), it proved to be very effective on surface perch thanks to its walking the dog action.

Its air-filled tail gives it a unique swimming action. Moulded from high quality soft plastic, it is rich in salt and flavoured with natural coffee. Its suppleness makes it sensitive to the slightest stress. It's also very easy to skipper, making it a great lure for fishing black bass under branches. It remains dense and very attractive to predators who hold it in their mouths for longer. The coffee attractant also masks the smell of humans.

The Caffeine Shad is a very versatile soft bait that can be used weightless for surface fishing, behind a chatterbait, as a carolina or on a jig head.
