This is clearly one of the lures from Megabass lures that set the standard for anglers of all horizons. The Sling Shad is part of the soft jerkbait family, making it ultra-versatile for both marine and freshwater applications.

Its compact size of 12.5 cm makes it ideal for medium-sized predators or larger fish when targeting small forage fish. The 5" is the size generally used to find bass or pike-perch.

Its rubber and shape allow it to be rigged in a variety of ways. You can of course use it vertically on a sabot jig head, but also as a Texan or with sharper heads.
