The Onimaru 30g vibrating blade has been designed by Megabass to track mackerel, sea bass and bonito in Europe. The Japanese brand brought together a team of experts to study the behaviour of these marine predators for several months, with the aim of creating the ultimate lure to catch them.
It's fair to say that the mission was a success, as you'll benefit from a unique design where nothing has been left to chance. Its horizontal swimming behaviour mirrors in every detail that of a small prey fleeing, emitting a series of uninterrupted high-pitched vibrations that are effective at any retrieve speed.
The lateral lines of the body have been worked to increase the lure's attraction potential. The armament is unequalled in this category of lure, with two treble hooks, the front of which is mounted on a rolling swivel to ensure minimum breakage and maximum success: the fish won't be able to get any leverage to escape.
The entire shape of the lure has been designed to avoid tangles between the lure, the hooks and your line. With five colours to choose from, you'll be able to adapt to any situation and fish effectively in the Atlantic, English Channel, Mediterranean and North Sea.
