Illex offers a brand new Sleek Mikey 160 swimbait perfectly suited to stalking pike and other predators on the edge or in crowded spots.

This three-part articulated swimbait has a unique shape and design to give you a unique action that's sure to be a hit with predators. The action takes the form of a tight 'flag' action.

Its bib allows slow retrieves and a perfect feel for the swim in all conditions. The feather tail adds to the realism of the lure and brings it to life during pauses in the action, leaving no respite for the lure to be effective in all circumstances.

Its medium size for a swimbait makes it very versatile, so you can use it with a medium heavy spinning or baitcasting rod.

If you wish, you can use the lure in a number of different ways to increase its effectiveness in different situations: stop & go fishing (around structures), slow or steady line fishing for effective prospecting on weed beds or parallel to the bank.
