The Mezashi Slim Jig from Mustad is a metal jig that has been designed for coastal fishing from the shore or vertical jigging from a boat in deep water. This lure is attractive due to its strong appeal and excellent swimming performance, regardless of the context.

Its effectiveness is partly based on its double assist hook mounted on the head, specially designed for slow jigging. Made of thin but robust wire, these hooks significantly improve hooking and reduce the risk of unhooking, even with the most discreet touches.

The slender shape of the jig and its asymmetric mass distribution (55:45), slightly heavier at the head, allow for very stable behavior in the water. This forward center of gravity limits uncontrolled vertical movements under the effect of line tension, making the lure more natural in its descent and during animations. The result: a more realistic presentation, ideal for targeting wary fish.
