The Deviant is a jerkbait designed to target pike. Easy to cast, it's a good hard bait for fishing from the shore. Its unique design, characterized by wide flat sides, allows it to displace a large volume of water, thus generating powerful light flashes. This feature is ideal for attracting the attention of predators from a long distance, even in low light conditions or in murky waters.

One of the major assets of the Deviant from Xorus lies in its versatility. It adapts perfectly to different retrieval speeds and animation styles. In linear retrieval, it adopts a smooth S-shaped swim, perfectly imitating a fleeing fish. For a more aggressive approach, a series of twitches makes it more unpredictable, giving it an erratic swim marked by significant lateral deviations. This nervous behavior is particularly effective in triggering reflex attacks from predators.

Furthermore, the Deviant incorporates large internal beads that produce a deep sound, ideal for stimulating the aggressiveness of pikes.
