Description

The Splash Wing, an iconic feature of the hard bait PL110 Splash from babyface, is positioned under the chin to create a water bubble that perfectly mimics the panicked flight of prey on the surface.

The inspiration for this unusual design was born on a winter's day, when Ryusuke Hayashi observed a snowplow pushing snow to the sides of the road. This image, etched in his mind, gave birth to the idea of the SPLASH WING - a system replicating the same dispersion effect, but on water.

The babyface PL110 Splash is a stickbait that creates a real state of panic on the surface when whitefish are pursued by predators. Thanks to an irregular swimming action - swaying up and down and left to right - the lure performs a "3D dogwalk", a dynamic and unpredictable movement achieved just by classic handling of the rod.
