For over 40 years, Dietmar Isaiasch has passionately fished for predators: pikes, zanders, perches, and many other species. A key figure in lure fishing in Germany, he is one of the few German fishermen to have gained international fame, both from the shore and on a boat.

His professional career began during his studies in lure design, before expanding to specialized writing in 15 fishing magazines around the world, with a marked focus on modern predator fishing. Author of several reference books and numerous themed specials, he also brought his expertise to television via the Seasons and Terranova channels, and produced many DVDs dedicated to lure fishing.

A visionary in his field, Dietmar founded the first magazine entirely dedicated to predator fishing in Germany, Der Raubfisch (now published by Paul Parey), as well as its Dutch equivalent, De Roofvis. Always on the lookout for new techniques and innovative lures, he has established himself as a recognized product developer: a certified marketing expert, he has contributed to the creation of many successful lures and rods for Westin.

His sporting record testifies to his level of excellence: in 2002, Dietmar won the first-ever World Team Predator Fishing Championship, alongside his wife Carmen, a victory that remains to this day the highlight of his competitive career.
