The Sakura Chiku Shake Slider 80g is designed for anglers who enjoy sensing their rig working on the descent and triggering solid hits in the sea. Originating from Japan, this sliding inchiku stands out with a simple presentation, but is extremely effective when wary fish require a clean and natural animation.
Its design is based on a very interesting principle: the jig head and the octopus sink separately. As a result, the attraction effect is enhanced during the descent, with an animation that grabs attention even before the start of retrieval. In combat, this gap between the lead and the hooks also reduces the risk of unhooks, a real plus when the fish shakes its head violently.
In use, the Chiku Shake Slider Sakura proves particularly accessible. It can be animated in slow linear retrieval or in vertical jigs, while drifting. This simplicity does not detract from its effectiveness: on the contrary, it allows for regular contact with the lure and lets the skirt breathe in the water, where attacks often occur during the calmest phases of the motion.
This type of setup makes perfect sense in sea areas where fish respond well to sliding presentations. Sparidae are the species that respond best to this lure, but Bars, Seriolas, Weavers and other Pollacks can also be tempted by a well-presented Chiku Shake Slider Jig. It is a relevant choice for varying approaches when you need to offer a downward, precise, and attractive animation.
The rigging is done by tying your leader to the braid which connects the hooks and the skirt, so that the head can slide and move freely along the leader line. This freedom of movement gives the lure its unique behaviour in fishing action, while maintaining a neat and smooth presentation.
