The Palms Ark Rover 125S is designed for anglers who want to feel a living lure at the end of the line, capable of triggering the attack on wary fish as on aggressive hunters. This sinking jerkbait of 125 mm for 17 g has been developed in Japan for fishing aggressive pelagic species, with a resolutely technical and results-oriented approach.
Its diamond-shaped lip integrated into the streamlined body provides a very effective hybrid swim: in jerk animation, the lure delivers wide three-dimensional darts that break the trajectory and provoke the reaction. In linear recovery, it maintains a consistent and fluid wobble-roll, ideal for keeping the fish's attention and building up the pressure until the attack. This versatility makes all the difference when the fish are educated and you need to present a credible, precise and regular swim.
The mass transfer system with 3 balls — two stainless steel and one tungsten ball placed at the rear — adds a real gain to the casting. Distances lengthen, the trajectory becomes more stable in flight, and the lure quickly regains its frontal position to secure the hook-up. In rough seas, this sturdy design allows you to keep confidence without inhibiting the animation, even in the face of an unexpected more powerful fish than expected.
In the field, the Ark Rover 125S excels in jerk animation and linear recovery. It really comes into its own when you need to search quickly, insist on a hunting area or imitate a vulnerable prey with a reactive and nervous swim. It is particularly suited to fishing for sawara (Spanish mackerel), yellowtail/bluefish and coastal bass, in contexts where speed, range and quality of swim make the difference.
