When predators become wary, the Z-Man Chatterbait Z-Man Big Blade 17.5 g imposes a sound and vibratory presence impossible to ignore.
Designed as an oversized palette swim-jig, this lure relies on the action of its hexagonal stainless steel XL ChatterBlade® to generate maximum thump and strong vibrations. In continuous recovery, it creates a very marked escape signal, ideal for triggering the attack instinct of the most reluctant predators. Its lead head, offered in 1/2 oz, 5/8 oz or 3/4 oz, allows you to adjust the prospecting to the depth and water density, whether you are looking to fish closer to the bottom or to maintain a more pronounced swimming line.
The 6/0 Mustad® UltraPoint® heavy-duty hook provides real security when setting the hook and a strong hold during the fights, while the double molded conical bar firmly holds a soft trailer. The wire-tied silicone skirt ensures good wear resistance and simple maintenance, with durable performance at the water's edge. On the presentation side, the different skirt and matching head colors allow you to adapt the lure to the conditions encountered, especially when the water is turbid or the fish require a more marked stimulation.
In the field, this chatterbait is aimed at pike or bass fishing in medium to heavy conditions. It comes into its own in loaded waters, on sectors where a discreet lure goes unnoticed. Regular animation is often enough to exploit its full potential: the lure pulses, pushes water and attracts from afar, offering a devilishly effective solution for wide prospecting and triggering reactions from big fish.
