The Platypus project was very ambitious from the outset for its designer, Alla Christensen. We kept it a secret for a long time and didn't even have a name for this exceptional lure at the outset. When we saw the final prototype, the name was more than logical because of the resemblance of the lip to the beak of a real Platypus. It has one of the best rolling and most glistening swims ever seen in a lure.

Since its creation by the famous designer Alla Christiansen, the Platypus has become "THE" lure responsible for catching the biggest pike in Scandinavia. Now we've responded to the demands of top specialists with a low-float model that's perfectly buoyant. During breaks, it will float quietly to the surface, triggering lightning attacks from even the most wary predatory pike.

It took me no less than 32 different prototypes, hours of testing and adjustments to achieve this result. A unique lure was born, with an incredible swimming action - even at low retrieve speeds for wary fish in early spring when the waters are still cold. At high retrieve speeds, the action of the platypus is simply incredible. I have no doubt that it will become a benchmark for tracking large fish in the future.
