The Z-Man ChatterBait® Original 7 g is a remarkably versatile bladed jig, designed to provoke an attack where fish hesitate. With its compact silhouette of about 11 cm, it combines three fishing sensations in one lure: the power of a spinnerbait, the swim of a crankbait, and the hold of a jig. An obvious choice to get the predatory fish to react, in particular the black bass, the pike and the perch.
Its signature is the patented ChatterBlade® hexagonal blade combined with a direct head - palette connection. In action, the lure delivers intense vibrations and light flashes that perfectly imitate a struggling prey. This erratic, very lively swim remains effective in both clear water and muddy water, with an ability to trigger bites even when fishing pressure is high.
Designed to face challenging situations, it is particularly relevant in the presence of dense vegetation and cover. Its 5/0 needle-point hook offers a very sharp tip for a firm hold, while the robust quick clip secures the whole thing in use. The EZ Skirt® adds to the visual attractiveness, and the molded trailer keeper securely holds the soft lure for ongoing casting without compromise.
In the field, it's a lure to bring out when you need to cover ground and provoke sharp reactions. It excels in linear fishing, close to the weed beds, along obstacles or in areas where predatory fish follow without deciding to bite. For competition fishermen as well as those looking for a ready-to-use lure, it's a safe bet: easy to put into action, effective in a wide range of situations, and incredibly consistent.
