Description

The Tiny Flapper reinvents the surface lure by combining two usually different worlds: the soft body typical of a frog and the bib shield characteristic of crawlers. This unique combination reproduces the powerful and swaggering swimming of crawlers, while maintaining the formidable crossing capacity of frogs in the densest covers.

The major asset of this hybrid lure lies in its ability to evolve without snagging in the most vegetation-rich areas, these famous heavy covers where the largest black bass like to lie in wait. Thanks to this design, it becomes possible to offer a powerful and attractive swim where most classic surface lures would be trapped in the vegetation from the first few meters.

The hollow and soft body of the Tiny Flapper perfectly conceals the single hook, offering almost total crossing capacity through water lilies, weeds and submerged branches. This weedless design allows to explore areas usually inaccessible to other lures, where often the most cautious predators take refuge.

Designed for active fish search over vast areas, the Tiny Flapper fits into a typical power fishing approach, where the objective is to quickly cover as much area as possible to trigger the most responsive fish. It thus positions itself as a natural complement to the Mazzy Frog, more dedicated to slow and fine approaches on specific spots. Combining the two lures allows to cover all the situations encountered in the heavy covers, from quick prospecting to fine and calm fishing.

The Tiny Flapper is equipped with a single strong wire hook, a choice that limits the injuries inflicted on the fish during capture. The ring welded directly to the eyelet preserves the intensity of the characteristic weaving of this lure, while avoiding the drawbacks of a classic clip, often prone to collecting algae or grass and disturbing the swim.
