Description

The Ragot Civelix® 12 cm is designed for anglers seeking a fine, natural, and credible imitation of the elver, also known as whitebait. Its elongated shape and soft lure design make it a highly attractive bite for predatory sea fish such as bass, pollock and even small tarpons. In fishing action, it presents itself as easy prey, with a discreet and persuasive swim that often triggers the attack when the fish become wary.

This 12 cm size offers a real compromise between visual presence and fineness. It is precisely what makes it effective from beach casting as well as from the boat, but also in jerk fishing, with a bombette or while trolling. Each animation highlights its power of imitation: regular retrieval to keep a tense swim, small pauses to let the lure descend back to the useful zone, or slower animation when insisting on following fish. The Civelix® is designed to remain credible and easy to evolve in the water, without unnecessary brutality.

In the field, this lure makes perfect sense when the fish feed on small elongated prey. Its description designates it for Bass, Mackerel, Seabass, Horse Mackerel, Pollock, Garfish and small tarpon. It thus finds its place in active sea fishing, in prospecting or following schools, with a precise presentation that can make the difference when the bites are discreet. It is a soft lure to keep ready whenever you want to insist on a simple, direct, and terrifyingly realistic imitation of the elver.

  • The Civelix® is the perfect imitation of an elver (whitebait)
  • Deadly from beach casting or from the boat
  • Can be used in jerk fishing, with a bombette or while trolling
  • Targeted fish: Bass, Mackerel, Seabass, Horse Mackerel, Pollock, Garfish, Baby tarpon
