The Itoka Run 180 S swimbait from the brand Gunki stands out with its natural flag-like swim, effective even at reduced retrieval speed. This tight and realistic swim motion opens up new perspectives for hunting pike, especially in overfished areas where smart fish ignore overly demonstrative lures.
The multi-section jointed design of this lure fish faithfully reproduces the undulations of a forage fish. This segmentation provides:
With its 18cm length and substantial volume, the Itoka Run 180S perfectly aligns with the diet of large specimens. This size allows it to primarily target big-sized pikes.
The sinking nature of The Itoka Run with a descent speed of about 20cm per second, offers great adaptability. The descent of this lure allows for scouting above weed beds without hooking systematically. Ideal for zones of 1 to 3 meters where lurking pike are found. The lure descends flat in the water column, staying visible and attractive throughout the descent phase. This feature often triggers attacks during casting.
Perfectly comfortable in small environments: canals, backwaters, small ponds, crowded edges. Its lack of resistance facilitates accurate motions.
This swimbait accepts additional weights such as Clip Weight to adapt its behavior to fishing conditions. By positioning the weight on the ring under the head, you will achieve a faster descent to scout deeper water layers.
By positioning the weight on the central ventral ring, the descent will be more substantial but slower and flatter compared to a head positioning. Its swim will be balanced in shallow areas.
This modularity allows switching from a slow fishing on the surface to a rapid prospecting in depth without changing the lure.
The hooks are mounted on rolling swivels for free rotation to avoid unhooking.
A spare PVC tail is provided to extend the life of the lure and allow continued fishing after a destructive attack.
The color palette of the Itoka Run 180S caters to conditions encountered across the European continent:
Each color has been designed to adapt to water clarity, local prey, and regional pike preferences.
It adapts to various approaches:
