The Yo-Zuri Crystal Minnow DD 13 cm is the perfect companion for outings where you need to find fish deeper, without losing attraction. From the first crank turns, its profile of a floating swimbait and its large lip impose a real presence in the water, with a swim designed to remain regular and reassuring, even when the conditions are not simple.
Designed to beautifully reflect daylight, this lure remains very attractive even in murky waters. Its long lip allows it to dive quickly to its optimal swimming depth without unhooking, which makes it easier to probe the water layers often inaccessible with a classic minnow. In slow and regular retrieval, punctuated by stop-and-go, it adopts a lively animation, with a sawtooth swimming action that intensively vibrates on the descent and then wobbles on its own on the way up.
When casting, it also stands out for its ability to travel a good distance unlike other longbill minnows. Its solid lip allows for bottom taping on soft bottoms, while bouncing off stones and branches without getting easily hooked. This versatility gives it an edge in the water and allows it to remain effective in various areas, with a feeling of control with each cast.
In light troll fishing near the coast, between 3 and 5 knots, the Crystal Minnow DD is particularly at ease for fishing for sea bass, pollacks or little tunnies. It stays in line without unhooking, sends out powerful vibrations and does not put too much strain on the rod. Its fast dive allows it to reach a working area between 2 and 4 m, exactly where we often try to trigger an attack on the active fish in open water or positioned lower down.
