The Fox Rage Slick Twitch 95 SR is designed to make predator fish go for the bait when they're following but don't dare to attack. With its Twitch and Pause animation, it responds perfectly to quick jerks of the rod tip, initiating an erratic, lively and panicked movement, like an injured baitfish. With each jerk, it shoots forward and produces luminous flashes that further enhance its lure.
This swimming lure shines especially in the pause phase. The Slick Twitch then remains suspending, perfectly balanced, with a head-down presentation inclined 30 to 45 degrees. This precise holding in the strike zone gives fish the time to decide, and it is often this controlled immobility that triggers the attack. The sounding click adds a powerful signal to attract distant fish, including in tinted waters.
The long-distance magnetic system provides real fishing comfort on the terrain: it helps to propel the lure further and more accurately, thus easily reaching distant feeding zones. In SR, it swims between 1 and 2 m, ideal for prodding the upper water layer and shallow areas. In DR, it goes down between 2 and 3 m to insist a little more when the fish are sub-surface. The ultra-sharp BKK hooks secure the fish, while the R Shield details, with their ultra-realistic scale finish and 3D eyes, enhance the visual realism. The Matt Finish reduces reflections and improves contrast for a more natural presentation in the Alpine Minnow, Matt Tiger and Natural Perch colour schemes.
On pike, perch or other active predator venues, this lure comes into its own when you need to alternate accelerations and pauses. It becomes particularly interesting when fish are wary, on the edge, on shallow breaks or above areas where the prey gather.
