The Makaira range is ultra-versatile thanks to a range of sizes from 0.9 to 70 g. The new lighter weights, particularly from 0.9 to 3.5 g, give access to modern finesse techniques for street fishing or rock fishing and are perfect for use with lures from the YAMAMOTO Crappie Baits series. The Makaira 5, 7, 10.5 and 14 g combine perfectly with the small Majikeel 125 mm and Snoop 100 and 130 mm lures. The larger Makaira jigheads will get your soft lures into the water as quickly as possible in water depths of up to several metres for stalking big predators.

Like the legendary predators of the Makaira genus - blue marlin and black marlin - these jigheads are tapered to give them optimum hydrodynamic efficiency for fast spinning or fishing deep in the current. Makaira lures fit perfectly with Sakura Majikeel soft lures, as well as many other models on the market, such as Snoop (Sakura), Swimbait 5'' (Gary Yamamoto) or Vis Shad (Molix). Now you can jerk your favourite lures to your heart's content.
