Description

The Helix 8 G4N MEGA DI echo sounder has an 8-inch screen. It features Mega Down Imaging, Sonar Chirp Dual Spectrum and an internal GPS with background map Humminbird.

Helix 8 handsets are the perfect size for a boat or large float tube. With external dimensions of 305mm x 178mm x 105mm, it retains a compact size with all the features of the larger models. The Helix 8 G4N includes features such as :

AutoChart Live: This technology creates real-time maps of your fishing spots. It plots depth contours, bottom hardness and vegetation as you navigate. You have 8 hours of built-in recording time.

NMEA 2000 network: This system displays engine information (speed, rev counter, etc.), boat information and weather data.

Bluetooth: Allows you to activate wireless software updates from the Humminbird FishSmart application. You can also connect your phone to your handset to receive sounder notifications on the screen. You can also take control of your most-used functions with the optional Bluetooth remote control (RC2).

Ethernet: Ethernet networking allows you to create a professional-level fishing system by connecting multiple fishfinders and/or electric motors to take advantage of i-Pilot, 360 Imaging and CHIRP radar technology.

MEGA Down Imaging: This feature distinguishes fish from obstacles thanks to a higher frequency. You'll get 3 times the detail of a standard Down Imaging fishfinder.

Dual Spectrum CHIRP : Dual Spectrum offers two search methods: wide mode for maximum coverage and narrow mode for maximum detail. The wide mode is ideal for prospecting.

It is compatible with the One-Boat Network family of products from Humminbird, Minn Kota and Cannon.
