Description

The ideal lure for finesse fishing at the water's edge, the Odonata brings the promise of an ultra-realistic presentation even in spots where fish are wary. Designed using hyperrealistic technology and exceptional knowhow from Westin, this soft lure faithfully reproduces the silhouette of dragonfly larvae to provoke instinctive attacks.

Technically, its streamlined head is a major asset for mounting on a Ned jighead or for a dropshot animation: it ensures a perfect fit on the lead head and promotes a natural position during descent. The discreet hook housing placed between the wings allows a clean and effective EWG assembly, reducing snags while preserving the silhouette. The segmented body and thick tail of the model amplify the reactivity at each twitch and create an irresistible swim both on descent and recovery.

To the touch and in action, the material makes the difference: the ultra-elastic and resistant TPE restores subtle vibrations while offering notable durability during fights and numerous animations. Its floatability allows it to stay visible and reposition naturally after each release, increasing the fishing time in the action zone.

In practice, favor short and sharp animations or pauses followed by small rod tips to exploit the responsiveness of the segmented body and tail. Mounted on a lead head Ned Jighead, a micro jig, an EWG/Offset assembly, or a dropshot hook, it is suitable for finesse fishing and discreet approaches along edges or near structures.
