Description

The Jerkbite is a modern hard lure designed to attract pike. At 17cm, it's among the largest jerkbaits / twitchbaits. It adapts to all fishing conditions and all styles of movement, from the most nervous to the most subtle. This slim lure with a realistic profile is a must-have in the lure box.

The Jerkbite excels as well in aggressive animation, with quick and lively jolts, as in slow recovery punctuated by long pauses. It is precisely in these crucial pauses that the secret of its effectiveness lies: thanks to its perfectly balanced body, the lure remains perfectly stable in the strike zone, motionless and irresistible to a predator on the lookout. During the winter season or in cold water, extending these pauses triggers attacks on less active fish that would not respond to faster motion. On regular recovery, the Jerkbite also develops a natural and convincing Westin-Roll action.

Equipped with an integrated long casting system, the Jerkbite carries two steel balls that automatically migrate to the tail during casting to optimize aerodynamics and extend casting distance. On recovery, these balls return to the belly of the lure, instantly restoring a frantic darting action that perfectly imitates the disordered movements of a panicked bait fish. A clever mechanism that combines maximum range and swimming efficiency.

Made from durable ABS plastic, the Jerkbite benefits from a through-wire construction that ensures its strength against the most intense battles. Completely lead-free, it is also more environmentally friendly. Its ultra-sharp carbon steel hooks ensure clean and reliable hooking. Realistic eyes and detailed hand-painted colors give the lure a striking realism that even deceives the most experienced fish.

With a swimming depth of 0.5 to 1.5 m, the Jerkbite is particularly suitable for surface and subsurface fishing, ideal for prospecting borders, weed beds and shallow areas.
