Description

It is often very difficult to find a suitable hook for stalking the catfish in total confidence. VMC has created this 8357 Catfish hook for this purpose to meet an increased demand for anglers of large specimens requiring an unmatched resistance to opening. Two types of finishes are offered, the NT which corresponds to a special coating on the hook increasing the penetration speed by 50% and a PS which will limit corrosion to its maximum.

Cone cut: A very effective tip that has several strings to its bow. Thanks to their conical tip, these models are very sharp and of high quality. Their triangular summit and thin barb give them excellent penetration.
HI Carbon: Carbon stabilizes iron during temperature changes. The higher the carbon level, the more resistant the steel. VMC only uses high carbon content steels in order to obtain thinner, stronger hooks with a durable tip.
